UPDATE ON WATER PUMP BACK-UP GENERATOR

Please prepare to be without water if we lose power as Ian approaches as the back-up generator is not fully functional. I had updated folks at our last BODs meeting stating another 2-3 weeks with Gaudette Electric to get this done and functioning.  With all the rain and thunderstorms over the past few weeks and now Ian, it has delayed their being able to complete the work.

My conversation this morning with Gerry Gaudette, owner of Guadette who is in the process of moving as much of his equipment out of the flood zone as his shop is west of Rt. 19, he and other vendors were instructed to stop all work this week.  Work remaining – laying a cement slab just below the front of the generator to seal new wiring for electronic controller, final inspection and sign off by the County on the permit, and then have generator vendor come for the start-up/fire-up of the unit as required by the manufacturer.
